There are a few things that I find challenging to put into words and the Flower Ceremony is one of them. This is because it is a place of stillness and being receptive to the voice of God. Throughout the months we will be travelling on an inner pilgrimage into the realms of the heart.

The Rose is a very feminine flower and Hawthorn awakens any dormant parts of the heart. Whereas the San Pedro flower is one of the masculine, the grandfather to be exact. Whilst the Blue Lotus is Androgynous and is the union of the two.

I have a special affinity with the Rose as a flower of the Goddess, the Great Mother and Ancient One. She is a flower of secrecy [sacredness], mystery, truth, Love and Union and an ally of the heart.

She will aid us in travelling an inner pilgrimage into the heart in connection with the Great Mother. With a special focus on the front and back of the heart and its overall health and function as the centre of our being.

Flowers are the essence of life and they help us to instil our connection with the Flower of Life, which is the sacred geometrical blueprint of foundation, the pattern of the universe. These codes of creation are a key which we can use to unlock hidden knowledge of space and time.
As one of the most revered flowers in Ancient Khem, where the Flower of Life was originally found in the temple of Asar, the Rose holds many mysteries of the universe and its ancient civilisations. A symbol of beauty and regeneration which will use as an offering to the Gods through our own vessels.

According to the Maya Cosmovision, this day of ‘10 Keme’ carries a special connection to the world of ancestors and is imbued with plentiful feminine energy. A day for great healing and strengthening the union between man and woman, family and society. This link to human society comes from 10’s direct correlation to the number of fingers and toes on our hands and feet.

Expect stillness and silence and travelling through the silence and expect nothing at all. It is a day for pure connection, inner and outer.

Please note that the Rose and Hawthorn tinctures both contain honey and grape. The San Pedro Flower tincture contains alcohol yet has a very soft taste. It is also completely optional to consume the tinctures.

The journey will be held at Zen Yoga, Camberwell SE5.
